Greenish Coin

Greenish Coin
ICO date: 20.06.2018 - 10.07.2018
Industry: Investment, Gaming
Description:

Greenish coin is a monthly allowance plan that works with gaming industry.

How it works:

The main idea behind Greenish coin is investing money from the ICO in gaming to assure monthly payments for the ICO investors. All who invest in the ICO will be receiving 2% of their investment a month. However, they would only be able to do that, if they keep 10% of their investment in their wallet. The rest should be sold on the exchanges. Additional income can be gained through referral program.

Those who did not participate in the ICO can earn profit, buying GREE on the exchanges and investing it in gaming projects, curated by the company. Later they will receive a part of the project’s income. A part of that income will be used to fuel monthly payments to ICO participants.

Third party developers will be encouraged to develop games for the platform and share income with it, gaining an audience of gamers. Developers get 30% of the income, 40% go towards monthly allowance payments.

Innovation:

The project’s premise sounds great. Even though it is based on gaming business, Greenish has several markers of a HYIP project, that would collapse, once the influx of new users gets lower. Since little information on the gaming side of the business is known, it is impossible to give Greenish the highest mark.

Innovation score: Medium

Token value:

GREE provides stable income for ICO participants. Those who invest receive 2% of their investment a month. Considering the fact that 90% of the coins should be sold for that, allowing use of GREE in games curated by the company, these 2% are going to raise in price as well.

White paper:

The white paper presented by Greenish explains the concept and the referral system, provides a brief market analysis and comments on revenue streams and marketing strategy.

White paper score: Medium

Roadmap:

The roadmap of the project is extremely brief. All ICO-related details aside, it only states that the development started in May 2017 and will be finished by June 2018, July being the date of launch, and that in 2019 the company plans to launch first games on the platform.

Roadmap score: Medium

Business model:

The main revenue stream the company has is games, developed by third parties. Developers get to keep 30% of the income in exchange for a wide audience. 40% of the income goes towards monthly allowance payments and the remaining 30% if the income of the company. The main marketing strategy is referral program.

However, the company does not describe how exactly it is going to market these games, and attract audiences they talk about.

Business model score: Medium

Team:

One of the two Business Development Managers has only two years of experience. He worked as a Project Manager and community manager previously. The company’s community manager also has two years of experience, one of which was internship. The operation manager is quite good, he has 19 years of experience, and has been a CEO previously. Head of marketing’s LinkedIn is unavailable and he could not provide a link to his profile when contacted. The person mentioned as communication manager currently works as a BBC radio host. We are in the process of making this peculiarity clear.

The advisory board has only three people. A senior associate of investor relations for an East European bank, a CEO of an ICO consultancy firm, and a man who has only worked about 6 months as a community manager in an unnamed firm.

No person mentioned on the official website as team members, however, confirm this claim on their LinkedIn page. We have not yet been able to confirm whether this is a misunderstanding or dishonesty from the side of the company. Stay tuned for updates.

Team score: Low

Competitors:

Gaming industry is not easy to compete in. Startups like Dicegame, Gron digital, Playbets and PlayHall  compete with Greenish in this field. However, no assessment of its competitive advantage is possible, as the company does not provide but vague information on the gaming component of the platform.

Competitors score: Medium

Overall thoughts:

The idea behind Greenish is very promising. However, its many failures in presentation disqualify it from a high mark. It does not explain the gaming part of the business, provides a far too brief roadmap and its team is weak.

Since you can’t get the initial investment back if you decide not to participate in the monthly allowance plan and team members are not confirmed to work in the company, investing in GREE is a huge risk.
